About me
I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania and also hold the national certified counselor (NCC) credential. I earned an MA in Community Counseling from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and have 15+ years of experience working with adolescent and adult clients, providing individual, group, and skills training sessions. I have worked with many different mental health issues, such as depression, self-injury, anxiety, PTSD, borderline personality disorder, gender dysphoria, LGBTQIA+ issues, and adjustment to life changes. I also have experience working with dually diagnosed individuals and those coping with substance use issues. I have worked with adolescents experiencing bullying, ADHD, eating disorders, learning disorders, peer pressure, autism spectrum disorders and transition to adult life issues.
I work from a client-centered, judgment free approach combining aspects of DBT, CBT, Personal Medicine, and Mindfulness. I am willing to meet a person where they are at in their journey. I am a guide on your adolescent's journey. I do not have all the answers, but am willing to work with your adolescent to navigate their emotions, thoughts, and interpersonal relationships. I do not believe in labeling people as we are all just humans at the end of the day. I empower my clients to make safe, healthy, and effective decisions to better their lives. I use positivity and skills training to help people improve their self-esteem, self-confidence, and overall outlook on life.
I would be happy to help your adolescent work through their mental health issues and teach them the healthy coping skills needed to navigate an ever changing world. I believe that change is possible for everyone, and that there is always hope. I would love to work with your adolescent on their goals and help them to see the world from a different perspective. Change your thinking, and you will change your world. I look forward to walking the path toward a happier and healthier life with you and your adolescent.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Rachael Morgan. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Teen Counseling might be different.
Rachael is wonderful, she really takes the time to listen to you and get to know you and is always ready to talk about anything with you. She works with you to help you achieve your goals at whatever pace necessary for you.
My therapist is truly amazing! She has played a significant role in helping me feel better. I am grateful for her expertise and support.
Rachael is great. She gives tidbits of information to keep one mindful and focusing on sense of self care and perseverance.
We have only had a few sessions, but I find Rachael to be very compassionate while trying to assist my daughter with some practical tips for some social anxiety issues she is facing. She is a great listener!
So far the sessions have helped significantly. Talking with her has helped me finally progress through anything that’s. Even holding me back. I’m finally starting to move forward and I can tell. There’s a lot but I’m glad I’m finally able to reach out so once I get to where I want to be, I’ll be able to do so more independently.
Rachael has been a life saver helping me help myself to work through challenging issues. She holds me accountable and supports me in my goals. I would highly recommend her!
Rachael is very sweet and understanding. Always accessible and truly listens and validates to your emotions.
Really listens
Down to earth extremely caring and understanding
Rachel is a knowledgeable and dedicated therapist.
I’ve tried therapy on and off over the years and couldn’t quite figure out what my exact needs were. Turns out being able to easily connect to my therapist without leaving my home, and not having to deal with traffic and other triggers driving to and from a therapy appointment, have made all the difference for me. I also tend to just ramble and need someone to just listen to me babble for 30 minutes or so, not even someone to suggest solutions, just listen to me run my mouth. And it helps, and I’m so thankful for my therapist for listening to me each week and being there when I need to go off about my weekly frustrations
Rachel Morgan is a very kind, supportive and understanding therapist. She hears you and responds on point. I would recommend her highly.
Rachael is kind, an excellent listener, and an excellent resource. She has been so supportive over our past year working together. Love all of her check-ins and suggestions - she has a plethora of ideas! I feel confident leaving sessions and always feel better than how I entered. Love that I can be my full true self. Thank you, Rachael for making me or a more mindful individual!
I’ve been seeing Rachael for over a year and we have achieved great progress since then. Although, I’m doing better, I still plan to see Rachael on an ongoing basis.
Rachael has helped feel more atone with my gender identity, being there when I had a gender dysphoria episode, and encouraging me to come out to my mom. Thank you Rachael for everything!
She's been one of the best things I've ever done I have grown so much she is the best
Rachel is amazing! This was my first time ever trying therapy and Rachel helped me to find very accessible ways to improve my mental health. I've only been working with her for a month and feel like my mental health has already improved tremendously.
Rachael is very soft spoken. She is a calming presence. She is a great listener. She has really great tips to help with anxiety and way to find time for self care in a busy schedule.
I don’t know where I’d be without Rachael
I appreciate you so much…
Rachel is amazing!!
I've been working with Rachel for nearly 6 or 7 months now. She's been a huge help to me as I progress through a series of family related issues. She has offered some very well spirited and positive themed thoughts for me to remind myself of as I keep moving forward.
She knows her stuff and really helps make me feel better! Thank u Rachael!
The reaching out is what’s so crucial for me to participate unfortunately at times and I’m super appreciative that she reaches out and sends uplifting information to reflect on between sessions to keep you engaged. Still building a rapport but finding it very helpful already!
Rachael has helped me with my depression so much. She really listens and understands. She's very kind and gives wonderful advice.
Rachel is very laid back in her approach and provides a relaxed environment in therapy. I feel at ease speaking to her. The coping strategies she has provided have made a great deal of sense. Working on implementing them.
Rachael is great to work with and easy to talk to.
Rachael is very kind and works with me in ways that are beneficial for me. She helps me see a different perspective.
We love Rachael and look forward to our appointments with her. I cannot say enough great things and am so grateful to have her to lean on when things get hard. Everyone needs a Rachael in their life!
Rachael is awesome and easy to talk to overall totally satisfied w my experience
I’ve had many therapists over the years, and I’ve never felt as safe to share with someone as I have with Rachael. She is truly judgement free, and there have been many days where my mood has significantly turned around after a session with her. I feel so grateful and lucky to work with Rachael!
I really love Rachael. She is very understanding and helpful. Being on the spectrum it can be hard finding someone to chat with. She is great. the only thing think would be beneficial is having a sliding scale for students or different situations.
Rachael is amazing. Far better than any other therapist I've ever been to. She listens to me and actively tries to help me instead of just talking at me about what she thinks I should be doing and not getting my input. She's thoughtful and patient oriented. She puts my needs first and always tries to help answer my questions and works with me on my issues to help me live my life the way I want to. I couldn't ask for a better therapist.
Rachel is great
Rachael is great. She listens and provides great advice, she is caring and quick to respond, I have no complaints.
We have only had one session but I think it is going to be a good match.
Thanks for your continuing support and encouragement!
She is a really good listener and has helped me put my mind at ease
Rachel has been wonderful to work with. She is easy to communicate with and is very insightful. Often in therapy, we can talk circuitously, as we work something out in our head while talking about it. Rachel is able to take the issue at hand in, distill it, and offer helpful feedback. She also holds me accountable -which I truly appreciate!
Amazing has listened to my issues an provided helpful insight on what we can do to try to remedy those issues.
Rachael has been extremely helpful in the short time I have been working with her. She really works to understand what is the issue and any time I sent her a message she’s very quick to respond.
She listens, empathizes, and brings a calming presence to our conversation and solutions.
