I began my career as a child and adolescent counselor in 2002. I believe in a collaborative approach involving parents/guardians and the adolescents in determining treatment goals. I have had success enhancing ADHD coping skills, organizational improvement, and reducing self - harm behaviors. I have been rewarded as the adolescent population can be resilient in progress and abilities.

Michael is by far the best therapist I've ever had. Even though, I was a bit reserved with him in the beginning - I stuck with the therapy and it paid off.
I can hear actually still hear his suggestions in my mind and have found practical ways to incorporate his strategies into my life. He always was reassuring and forgiving even though I struggled to fulfill the tasks. But I think I can imagine that doing the worksheets he suggested would have been certainly helpful! That being said, as a good student, I took notes and tried my best to follow through.
