About me
My name is Kathryn Conly. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with close to thirty years experience. I have worked in a wide range of settings (private practice, inpatient, outpatient intensive care, and schools) with a large variation of individuals and their families. I work with clients suffering from depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, mood disorders, psychosis, and with relationship concerns.
I have worked as a school psychologist and am twice published in books about dealing with children and teens. I understand the many distressing problems teenages and their parents face and have worked with families in sorting these issues and identifying effective solutions. I have experience with court-ordered counseling for teens and inpatient and outpatient intensive care. I
I utilize non-judgmental, compassionate, and goal-focused strategies to help align behaviors with long-term life goals. Teens are often impulsive, gratification-seeking and struggle with limited insight and focus. I insist that they examine their lives and confront behaviors and thinking that will sabotage their articulated expectations of life.
I look forward to getting to know you and hopefully becoming your teen's "life coach" in problem solving, confronting troublesome issues, and obtaining life goals. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile and I wish for you and your family the best.

An amazing listener who offers sound advice from a realistic perspective, not just a clinical point of view.
It was so hard to reach out for support but its definitely the best thing to do.
the therapy has been great so far and lovely to have a professional to help with tricky teenage years.
Thanks for your time, advice and listening ear
Kathryn has been a wonderful therapist, who offers helpful tools for my “toolbelt” to handle difficult situations. She listens to me with empathy and has helped me gain a better understanding of my own experiences. I can feel a positive change, with lessened anxiety, through my continued sessions with her. Kind and patient with sensitive overthinkers like myself.
Kathy has been a huge help to me. She's really honest and gives guidance and advice and ways to get through your issues. I recommend her to everyone who ask
Kathryn is down to earth, easy to talk to, and relatable.
Kathryn is a very effective therapist. She has not only provided support and CBT, but she has also helped my son not slide into psychosis. This is the first time I have seen therapy effectively do this. Undoubtedly, having an excellent therapist at the right time can help a patient avoid becoming pschycotic. She was able to anchor my son in the present and in reality.
Thanks for all the help. Your guidance really gave me a fresh perspective to go through these dark times.
Kathryn has background knowledge about emotional development that help me process what's going on in my head. She is matter of fact and also doesn't sugar coat
Talking with Kathryn you have a clear sense of her engagement in your words. You can tell that she is activly trying to put together the puzzle that is 'you', and while at the same time being just an overall good and compassionate person.

Kathryn believed in me and my marriage that’s what I want to hear . It has been 1 month my husband and I haven’t argued once. Thank you for working with us.

Kathryn is great, she has a very compassionate approach, it's really easy to talk with her and she makes you feel comfortable in session. I absolutely recommend her.
Kathryn had been a wonderfully supportive and helpful therapist. As someone who required therapy on and off for the past 10 years, I can say with confidence that she is the one therapist that may actually be helping me breakthrough and come to the root of my issues. I would strongly recommend her to anyone looking to make progress in becoming someone who has better mental health and coping strategies
Want someone that really listens to you and takes time to get to the bottom of things? That's Kathryn, she's a wonderful therapist and will tell you like it is and I really, seriously appreciate that!
