About me
Hi, I’m Jacqui
Thanks for dropping by to get to know me.
I’m a Licensed Independent Social Worker with 17 years of experience licensed in Ohio. I have worked with a variety of agencies specializing in complex trauma , grief and working with people who have disabilities. I have helped clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, grieving, social interactions, personality disorders, career challenges and post traumatic stress disorder.
My counseling style is gentle and interactive. I believe in working together to find strategies and solutions that work for you and your situation. I have experience with various types of therapy including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Psychotherapy and Equine Therapy but what I find works best is good old fashioned listening and engaging. Sometimes finding what is at the core of our problems comes up when we least expect it. Then the therapy techniques help us make sense of what we are thinking and feeling. It might happen with art or journaling or music each of us is different and unique.
I enjoy working with teens and realize they are caught between the culture of their family, the school, the neighborhood and their peers. It is a complex task to discover who you are and how you fit into the world on any given day, but it is even harder in the midst of the stress in our world today.
I would love to chat with you and join you on this journey

Jaqueline has helped me through so much. Giving me the tolls and resources I need to understand how to accept my reality and how to control my life. Forever grateful for her therapy!
Jacqueline came into our family situation and our issues at a very challenging time, and was quickly able to provide support. She is an amazing resource and we could not recommend her more highly.

I am so lucky to have found a person who could help me change my life for the better by giving me great things to focus on. I look forward to our sessions and come away from them with a clearer mind. Thanks for that Jacqueline.

Jacqui is very professional and respectful.
Wonderful
Dr. Jackie is amazing! She is giving my spouse and I the tools to communicate which is the biggest thing we needed. She was able to identify this right off which made us feel very confident in our sessions with her. We've already learned so much from her and it's just our third session. We look forward to learning from her and putting her techniques, homework, and advice to use.
Jackie is super understanding of both parties, she’s helping us so much. She assigns good homework, and she makes us very comfortable to talk about anything
Very insightful and helpful to me as I dealt with some life changes, grief, and depression. She gave me useful and straightforward items to work on. Having that structure was very affective.
Jacqueline listens and understands me. At first I had to explain to her my job but since we started she’s done her own research to understand my job and I truly appreciate that!
She really takes the time to understand what's going on. She is very perceptive and I can tell she is very versed in her profession.
Jacqueline has been an amazing counselor for me and my partner. We seem to really be on the same page as to our goals and she's really taken the time to understand us as individuals and the unique quirks circumstances and challenges of our relationship. I feel confident going into a session with her that I will leave with something new to think about and feeling refreshed.
She is very understanding and she is helpful and give me good advice
Jacqui helped me grow so much. There isn't enough room to list all the good things about her.
