Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Eugene Yamamoto. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with Teen Counseling might be different.
My son & I are happy with Eugene. He gives us insight that we haven't thought about. And he gives godly counsel which we very much appreciate as Christians. He is compassionate & listens to us.
Great! Very helpful and solution oriented.
Very professional, And thorough
I’ve explored every popular self improvement strategy besides therapy, until I decided to try working with Eugene. He has completely restored my faith in the institution. I guess I’d just had one too many therapists give confounding advice to people I knew and loved, and seemingly only had them live in their problems instead of finding a way to heal. I thought “of course therapists don’t want to cure you, they’d be out of work!” Eugene is one of those rare individuals, like the one teacher you remember from public school who went above and beyond, who clearly cares about the people he serves. He has to stop himself from using every minute available to help you, so he can go and immediately help another, because he’s so laser focused on you and helping to give you the tools you need. His heart is so abundantly clear in the way he listens and shares, his experience is impressive and decades long in some of the most difficult clinical settings, his knowledge is sweeping, covering the clinical literature, addiction recovery best practices, and most importantly for me, matters of spiritual wisdom, which have transformed my life since I was a lifelong atheist and skeptic and experienced a spiritual awakening. Do not be afraid to ask Eugene to leave the bounds of his immense clinical knowledge to share with you on the great spiritual thinkers, and you’ll see what is evidently clear when talking to him: that the spirit of love and joy and higher purpose dwell in him, making him a faithful servant and a genuinely happy and long suffering lover of humanity. I am so grateful that I met Eugene, and even though I could probably get therapy covered by insurance, I will continue on teen counseling because of the vast improvement and encouragement and the dramatic life renewal I’m experiencing.
He is smart and informative and a pleasure to work with.

Eugene has been a great help and I am grateful to be working with him.
He's good
The best
Eugene is a godsend. I look for a therapist for almost 3 years and tried hard to find one that would work good for me & was an expert in the places i needed them to be and never found one. I was blessed to find him. He has all the expertise in the areas I need to be a top notch therapist. He is kinda caring & patient, professional, friendly, cool, fun to talk to, super understanding, super helpful, and also isn't afraid to challenge me to be better in a healthy way. He has already been so helpful & guided me through handling my darkness. I literally could not ask for a better therapist than Eugene.

Get helpful and lots of perspective
Eugene has deep faith and trust in the Lord, a compassionate heart that genuinely cares, a discerning spirit, keen insight into issues and how to manage them, and an innate ability to engage someone in difficult conversations without judgment. His patience, active listening, timely words, kind/respectful manner build trust. His knowledge of scripture and its application in real life affirms that he lives out his faith in his own life. His authenticity and sincerity give credibility to his work. I am grateful for Eugene’s role in helping me on my journey to wellness.
This is the very first time that I actually go through therapy with an actual therapist. Eugene has definitely my expectations as to what a therapist represents. During our therapy sessions, he’s very attentive and definitely helps me with my thought process to help him better understand me because ask the right question and for me to elaborate more so we can get the bigger picture. He has created by he does help me better understand my perspective, but as well as the perspective as my partner. I love that she does not make me feel judged or does not make me feel as if I or my partner are the problem. Comforting to know that I have Eugene as my first therapist in this journey. I also appreciate the fact that Eugene takes the time out of his day to respond to my messages if I need Quick advice Or just someone to listen and question my thoughts or actions.
I am very appreciative and grateful to have Eugene as my therapist Here on teencounseling.com

I really felt that Mr Yamamoto listened to me and tried to navigate the complicated mess I was throwing at him. His insights and advice were well taken.
